I have not managed to come up with an image to capture the obscenity
of
the Israeli genocide in Gaza, but its disproportion is along the same lines.
From 2002 to 2009, I was on the Board of Jewish Voice for Peace, a diverse organization inspired by Jewish tradition to work for a just resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on human rights and international law. For most of that time, I chaired the Board. I retired from that role upon hiring our first Executive Director. I am still a JVP member, but I am not nearly as active.
